Steps to Create Your DIY Watering System
Step 1: Measure
Insert the PVC pipe into the empty strawberry pot, ensuring it reaches the bottom. Center the pipe and mark it about 1/2 inch shorter than the lip of the pot using a Sharpie.
Step 2: Cut
Lay the PVC pipe horizontally on your work surface. Carefully cut through the pipe at your marked line using a hand saw or an electric saw.
Step 3: Mark Holes
Using the Sharpie, mark dots on the pipe for drilling holes. Place these marks every two inches from the top to the bottom, staggering their positions for even water flow.
